Title: Diagnostic Medical Physicist
Location: Lanham, MD
Job Description:

Provides diagnostic radiology services to include periodic QA and audit testing of X-ray units for regulatory compliance. Performs mammography inspections for MQSA compliance.

Performs imaging equipment evaluations.

Provides essential support by calibrating treatment machines, documenting maintenance and repair of linac, ensuring accurate calculation of dose, accurate treatment planning and establishing quality assurance initiatives to meet AAPM and ACR standards.

Education: • M.S. or Ph.D. in Physics or Medical Physics
 • ABR or ABMP board certified, or board eligible plus 5 years of relevant experience
Title:Clinical Medical Physicist
Location: Lanham, MD
Job Description:

Provide support and development of the external beam and brachytherapy (HDR and LDR) programs, including 3DCRT treatment planning, CT based simulations, HDR treatments, and incoming IMRT/IGRT programs.

Provide clinical support of Q/A, safety overview of equipment, and development of new treatment planning and delivery techniques.

Oversee physics and dosimetry team.

Education: • M.S. or Ph.D. in Physics or Medical Physics
 • ABR or ABMP board certified, or board eligible plus 5 years of relevant experience.
Title: Medical Dosimetrist

Job Description:

AMP is seeking a qualified Medical Dosimetrist for our Waldorf and Charlotte Hall, MD facilities. The candidate will be responsible for generating radiation dose distributions and calculations under the direction of the Radiation Oncologist and Medical Physicist.

Education and Experience: Qualified candidates must have a BS in physical science with a concentration in radiation physics and/or an ARRT registered radiation therapist with a specialization in radiation dosimetry. Board Certified Medical Dosimetrist preferred.

 • Board Certification required with a minimum of 10 years clinical expertise.
