The Safe Use of Fluoroscopy

The Safe Use of Fluoroscopy is a refresher training course for physicians and radiologic technologists who use c-arms, mini c-arms or radiographic-fluoroscopic units installed in an RF room or an OR suite. This course is designed to meet the criteria listed in section F.5(n)(3) of the Maryland regulations which requires a minimum of 1 hour of training every two years for those who actually energize fluoroscopy systems. It will also be helpful to anyone who needs training in radiation protection when using fluoroscopic equipment.

CT Training For Technologists

This educational module is offered to CT technologists who operate diagnostic CT scanners for medical imaging in a Joint Commission accredited facility. The Joint Commission requires the CT technologist staff to receive annual training on radiation dose reduction techniques – and explicitly expects staff to access and apply the Image Gently and Image Wisely guidance in their scope of practice.
